The Largest Employer in Timmins is Falconbridge Mines' Kidd Creek Division. There are two sub-divisions of Kidd Creek, the Mine Site, and the Met Site. The Met site consists of a Zinc Production Side, and a Copper production side! Each summer, Kidd hires on children of long time employees as summer students. I have been employed in the Copper Melting and Casting area at Kidd for 2 summers now as a 30 000 pound forklift operator. Below are a few links to some pictures of what I drive!
